Stat Holidays - Worked:


Time + 1/2 plus public holiday pay or regular pay plus a day off with public holiday pay

Public holiday pay / Regular pay = four work weeks before the work week with the public holiday plus all of the vacation pay payable to the employee with respect to the four work weeks before the work week with the public holiday, divided by 20.

Employee Eligibility of Statutory Holiday Pay:


- worked his/her full regularly scheduled day/shift before and their full regularly scheduled day/shift after the holiday
- has reasonable cause not to work his/her entire shift on the holiday if he/she agreed to, or was required to work that day
